Dawn Pruitt ~Stylist ~ Dawn has been a stylist in North Georgia since she began her career in 1990.  She attended cosmetology school at Lanier Tech in Oakwood, Ga. Dawn has in depth training in Framesi color and several certificates from Roffler School of Hair Design in point and advanced cutting techniques. She stays current in trends, styles, and products through hands on classes, industy shows, in salon training, and extensive research. Since opening The Salon in October 2008 Dawn has enjoyed the success of the salon and it's stylists.

Jessie Dimattina ~Stylist ~ Jessie is a native of Georgia. She started her career in 1990, graduating at the top of her cosmetology class. She originally started working at  an upscale salon on the square in historic Roswell and since then she has spent eight years of her career in Woodstock and the last ten years in Cumming. Jessie has been with The Salon since it opened in 2008. Along with being licensed in Georgia and Florida, she spends extensive hours on continuing education in order to keep her skills and ideas current.

Linda Lewsader ~Stylist ~ Linda has been a hair stylist since 1986. Linda began her career in Illinois and moved to Cumming in 2001. She spent her first seven years in Cumming at Image Salon. Linda's background includes training under and then working with a certified Redken Color Specialist for several years while she was still located in Illinois. She enjoys attending various industry shows in order to stay well informed of the latest trends and styles. Linda joined the staff of The Salon shorty after it opened.

Kelle' Gilbert Castleberry ~Stylist ~ Kelle' is a native of Cumming and obtained her master cosmetology license in 1999 after graduating from Lanier Technical Institute. She started her career at a local salon and then spent the last five years at Image Salon before moving to The Salon at Cumming Station in late 2008. Kelle' participates in continuing education yearly in order to maintain the ability to provide her clients with exceptional service and style. Kelle is highly trained and gifted in the most up to date highlighting and cutting techniques.

Jenny Wininger ~Stylist ~ Jenny has had four years of extensive training and experience through a one on one apprenticeship in Saginaw, MI, completion of the cosmetology program at The Esani Institute, (A Paul Mitchell Partner School), and as a stylist at Tiramisu Salon in Alpharetta. Jenny graduated at the top of her class from the Esani Institute in 2008. The dean of the school labeled her as "a model student" and said "Jenny displayed a high level of technical and creative strength in cutting and she has an extensive knowledge of Paul Mitchell color".  She Joined our staff in the Spring of 2009.

Kim Heehler ~Stylist ~ Kim started her career  30 years ago in her hometown of Addison, Illinois where she graduated from the Tricocci University of Beauty Culture. She owned and operated Jordan Shea Salon and Spa in Addison for 6 years before moving to Cumming. While Kim is very skilled and trained is all areas of hair styling, she particularly enjoys performing color and corrective coloring services using an array of professional lines including L’Oreal Majeral, Redken, Rusk, and Keune. She firmly believes that with color trends and styles changing so frequently, you must stay current with your education to be able to provide the best service for your clients.

Jennifer Boyce ~ Stylist ~Jennifer was born and raised in Connecticut where she began her career in 1997 at Ricci's Advanced Academy of Cosmetology.  At Ricci's she was trained extensively in the Toni & Guy methodology of color and cutting. Jennifer soon realized her passion for education and she quickly advanced her career by becoming a Color Educator for Ricci's as well as participating  as a stylist backstage for  fashion shows in New York. Jennifer has continued to add to her already extensive color and cutting knowledge by attending and participating in advanced classes including  Vidal Sassoon and Redken Symposiums in New York and Las Vegas as well as many classes with Farouk, CHI, & Graham Webb. She has earned her Master  Certification with So Cap Extensions and has owned and operated two salons in her career.  Jennifer prides herself on her coloring and cutting skills, she knows the importance of intertwining the color and cut together to define a beautifully creative and personal look for her clients.

Fran Word ~ Stylist ~The Salon would like welcome Fran to our team. Fran is from Florida where she attended cosmetology school and worked for the next 20 years. From there she moved to Texas and worked as a stylist for 13 years before moving to Cumming in 2009. Since Fran has been here she has worked for Ulta Salon. Fran is a Redken Color Specialist and has extensive knowledge in texture cutting techniques. She enjoys the creative challenges of our profession and believes that establishing a trusting relationship with her clientele is the only way to insure that a client’s expectations are always understood and met.
